Terms of use

These terms apply when you use this website, create an account or subscribe to the Skillscribe Home Learning Club. “We” means Skillscribe, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. “You” means the parent or guardian who holds the account.
Your account
Creating an account is free. It holds your child’s profile and lets you explore and manage your programme, and it doesn’t commit you to anything: a subscription starts only when you choose one and pay for it. Quill’s personalised support comes with the Personalised and Face to Face plans, not with the account on its own.
Plans and prices
- Prices are per month, per subject (Maths or English), in UAE dirhams, and are shown on the site before VAT. 5% VAT is added at checkout, where you see the subscription price, the VAT and the total payable before you pay.
- Standard and Personalised are 12-month subscriptions, billed monthly. Face to Face is a one-term commitment, billed monthly.
- What each plan includes is described in the plans section of the website at the time you subscribe.
- On Face to Face, you pick your session dates on the calendar, and Skillscribe confirms a time for each date. Sessions are in person.
- On the plans with marking, you hand in completed work from your account; marking and feedback come back there.
Payment
You pay monthly, starting on the day your subscription begins: by card through Stripe or, where card payment isn’t available yet, directly to Skillscribe as we agree with you before your plan starts. If you pay by card, you can update your card and download invoices and receipts from “Manage billing & invoices” in your account. If a payment fails, we’ll ask you to update your card or settle it with us; worksheets may pause until it’s sorted.
Changing or stopping a plan
Plans can’t be cancelled online during the commitment period. To change plan, add a subject or discuss stopping, message us on WhatsApp +971 58 508 5699 or email [email protected] — we’ll always look for a fair solution. Nothing here affects your rights under UAE consumer protection law.
Worksheets are for your family
When you subscribe, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to download and print worksheets for the children on your account, at home. Please don’t share, forward, upload, sell, copy or publish them, or use them with other children or in a class. Downloads are recorded against your account, and we may pause accounts that share our materials.
Our work belongs to Skillscribe
This website, its design, text, pictures and code, Quill the study owl, and all worksheets and packs are owned by Skillscribe and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, scrape, frame, reverse-engineer or reuse any part of the website, its software, Quill, or our materials, or build a service that imitates them, without our written permission.
Using the website fairly
Please don’t try to get into accounts or parts of the site that aren’t yours, test or break our security, overload the site, use bots or automated tools to collect content, or misuse Quill. Keep your devices secure — anyone who can unlock them may be able to open your account.
About Quill
Quill is an AI helper that gives general learning ideas and information about the club. It can make mistakes and isn’t professional, medical or legal advice. For decisions about your child’s education or wellbeing, speak to your child’s school or a qualified professional.
Our responsibility
We prepare every pack with care, but we can’t guarantee particular results. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the problem arose.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. If there’s ever a problem, please talk to us first — most things can be sorted with a message.
Changes
We may update these terms. We’ll tell members about important changes before they apply to them.
